Michael Dan Archer is a sculptor and public artist working and exhibiting throughout the UK and worldwide.

He has over 30 years experience in producing public art works for local authorities, public and private institutions. His work is often commissioned for regeneration and re-development of sites and the concept of change and transformation implicit in this informs many of his ideas.

In addition is exhibits widely with work ranging across a variety of media from drawings, printmaking, sculpture, installation and sound. 

Dan worked for 30 years as senior lecturer in Fine Art at Loughborough University and also regularly gives lectures about his work and contemporary sculpture to a range of organisations.

Dan works from his studios in Northern Spain and Lincolnshire as well as travelling widely throughout the world drawing on inspiration from many cultures, artistic and architectural traditions.
