In 2001 Michael Dan Archer participated in the US-UK Iron Pour in Norfolk, hosted by Yew Tree Farm Studios. Here a number of British and American artists worked over a number of weeks culminating in an iron pour open to the public, where the artists completed a number of pieces and where local school children watched their moulds being filled with molten iron.
