In Autumn 2003 Michael Dan Archer was invited to submit ideas for a symposium to be held in Dubai. Having been selected alongside 40 other sculptors from around the world Archer made a large stone sculpture titled 'Halad' or 'Santuary'. This work will be sited within a formal landscape which provides the setting for one of the worlds tallest buildings.
